This week was an adventure for sure! I did my first photo shoot for my fashion pages and it was great! Not gonna lie though. It was HOT! Remind me to never do a photo shoot at 4:00 in the afternoon in the summer heat in Georgia. The sweat chile! And I admit. Some of the poses had me feeling ridiculous, but they turned out great. For one outfit, she literally had me spinning. I felt ridiculous! But I certainly didn’t look ridiculous in the pictures! I learned a lesson. Listen to someone who’s been blogging for a few years. The Burnt Orange Dress
This dress is burnt orange and is so cute and comfortable. I purchased it in-store recently at Cato Fashions. It is perfect for brunch with friends or just running errands. Throw on some sneakers, as I did, and you are good to go! This dress is not available online, but I have linked some similar dresses below!
The Swing Dress
This linen swing dress is definitely a new favorite! I love anything with a button up look. Whether it be a dress, or top or a skirt, they are all good in my book. When I saw this on the hanger at Cato Fashions, I grabbed it quickly. But, I had no idea how cute it would look on! This dress can be dressed up for church or down for a date night. It is perfect either way. It is no longer available online, but I have linked some button up dresses below!
The Sneakers
Let’s talk about sneakers! I’ve recently gotten into them! I retired heels a few years ago after becoming a mom. (A story for another day.) I have since worn flats. I’ve opened up to the dresses and sneakers combo and let me tell you, my life has been forever changed! These sneakers pictured come in a few patterns! These are the leopard print design. I also bought the cheetah print as well! They are the ones I am wearing with the linen dress above! I am horrible with making decisions so I just bought them both! I do NOT regret it! And because animal print can work as a neutral, they are versatile and can add a little extra dimension to your outfits! I have linked them below!
