When I saw one of my fellow bloggers rock this dress, I RAN to Target’s website! At the time, it was half off and was $15!!!
Buying The Dress
Of course, the dress was sold out in the size I wanted. So, I kept checking the website until I saw it available in a 2X. I quickly bought it, along with two jumpsuits (shown below).
When I tell you that I’m obsessed with stripes, I mean it! The colors in this dress are absolutely stunning! I have linked the dress below. If it’s not available online, you can search to see if it’s available at a nearby store.
Sizing
I usually don’t shop at Target so I was unaware of the sizing of their clothing. I recently bought several pieces from another collection and had to repurchase the pieces in a smaller size. I thought it was just that line.
I’ve since been told that Target’s plus size clothing runs big. I probably could’ve sized down in this dress. However, it wasn’t available online in a smaller size so I made it do what it do! The smocking at the top also helped. As a side note, when an item has smocking, I usually size up anyway. So, there’s that!

Styling
I chose to wear a tank underneath because the cut was lower in the front. In hindsight, I should have either pulled the tank down in the back or chosen a tank with a different cut to hide the tank in the back. I opted to wear a belt to cinch the waist. I purchased this yellow belt a few years ago from Cato Fashions.
The earrings and sandals are from SHEIN. I have linked the earrings and similar sandals below.
