Okay. Look. I love fashion. Like Kel loves orange soda! I do! I do! I do-ooh! If you don’t get the reference, it’s from a show called “Kenan & Kel”. You should definitely check it out!
But as much as I love fashion, I love other stuff too! When my godsister/blog coach mentioned that I need to stay consistent with writing blog posts, it took a minute for this to dawn on me. As much as I love to talk, and therefore write, it’s been hard to write only about fashion.
My Journal Entries
Beginning last year, I’ve been opening up on my personal Facebook page and discussing issues that have plagued me. I called them journal entries. From dealing with friendship issues to social anxiety, I completely let down my guard and opened up.
These journal entries allow me to get things off of my chest. Talking is my way of dealing with things. I feel a burden lifted when I can express my feelings and thoughts instead of holding them in.
I also believe that social media can deceive you if you let it. I mean…everyone knows that it consists of people’s “highlight reels”. But sometimes, you can still think you’re the only one going through things. So, I decided to share some things that I deal with. It was my way of letting people know they are not alone. We all go through things.
What Does This Mean For Me Now?
You’ll still get fashion here. But, you’ll also get a mixture of family life and real life stuff. My friend recently described me as a “fixer”. When I hear someone is going through something, I immediately jump in to offer unsolicited advice. It comes from a place of wanting to help. And so that’s why I’ve decided to start doing journal entries here on my blog. If I can help one person, then my mission has been accomplished.
So, in conclusion my friends. I sound so professional huh? Lol! You’re going to get different things from me. From my everyday routines to fashion outfits to things I’m working through. But, fashion will always be included. Like here…where I link similar items to this look! See what I did there!?

Buckle up Comfies! It’s time to get real! And have fun while doing it! Until next time! Enjoy your day!
**After posting this blog post, I spoke with my godsister who also suggested that I could do reviews for TV shows because she noticed how much I enjoy talking about them in my Instagram Stories! So look out for TV and movie reviews too! I am so excited for all of the possibilities! Some of which I have not even thought of yet! Yay me!
