If you wanna hear my backstory for this order, keep reading.
Backstory
This has been an experience to say the least. The first thing was on me though. I was in such a rush to order that I didn’t think to use the $50 off code instead of the $10 off code. According to their website, Fashion to Figure has a one-time policy of adding a promo code within 48 hours if you forget to use one. Unfortunately, because I had already used a code, they couldn’t switch them out. But, that was on me.
I ordered five items which included two pairs of pants, two cardigans and a skirt. Unfortunately, the skirt I ordered was not in the package. And the whole reason I placed this order was because I wanted the skirt. Customer service said they could not ship the skirt, but could refund me and I could reorder it. However, the system was updating and refunds couldn’t be processed at the time. When I asked about free shipping if I reordered the skirt (I had free shipping on this order.), they said I could get free shipping on the next order. However, I would need to purchase the skirt and then call them and then they would refund shipping. But… aren’t refunds down??? I spoke to customer service on September 29, 2023 and as of today, October 4, 2023 (almost 9:00 am), I have not received the refund for the skirt. I have an email from customer service (that I requested) detailing our discussion so I do have backup.
Anywho… about what I did receive… For reference, I ordered everything in a size 2, which is an 18-20 according to their size chart. Let’s get into these pieces!
Anika Faux Leather Paperbag Waist (linked here)

Baby…when I tell you that these pants are EVERYTHING!!! They are faux leather so they will be perfect for cooler weather. However, because I live in Georgia, these pants will be chilling in my closet for a minute!
The pants feature side and back pockets, as well as a removable belt. Instead of a zipper in the front, it has snaps with cute accent buttons. And let’s not forget about the paperbag waist. Chile… it is perfect! To see these details for these pants, stay tuned to my social media. I plan on posting a try-on soon. My socials are linked at the bottom of this post.
Tamara Coated Ponte Knit Leggings (linked here)

The first time I tried these leggings on, I thought they were too tight. The second time I tried them on (above), I thought maybe they’re not too bad. I actually love them! However, because I have hips, thighs and booty, I’ll be strategically covering them.
The leggings are pull-on. They look like leather, but according to the website, they are made with a “coated fabric that looks like leather”. They can be dressed up or down. However, I’ll be styling them more casually, as I have done above.
Marguerite Plaid Cardigan Sweater (linked here)

The color and print of this cardigan stood out on the website. However, I have mixed feelings. For the most part, the cardigan is well-fitted. Although, I could’ve sized down. It looks good on, but these pictures have me second-guessing. Maybe how I styled it is throwing me off. Perhaps leggings would go better.
The sleeve details are superb. I love the slight cinch, as well as the contrast color. The pockets are also nice. Now, on to the last item!
Jaya Striped Cardigan (linked here)

This cardigan is a clear example of something looking better on the website model than on me. I think it’s because I could’ve sized down in this as well. The tops seem to run oversize. When I wear this cardigan in real life, I’ll probably style it with jeans that come in at the bottom to offset the oversized look.
The details are nice. I love the black at the end of the sleeves. I also like that it has gold buttons, which is a nice contrast from the black and white. And I’m a sucker for stripes! So, the pattern is good.
Conclusion
Despite the complications with this order (as well as a second order that was canceled immediately after I placed it), I would order from Fashion to Figure again. I’d stay away from tops, at least at first. They run big and I could’ve lived without them. However, the pants fit very well so I’d order bottoms from them again with no hesitation!
Thanks for stopping by Comfies! I should have a try-on up on my social media accounts soon so keep a lookout!
