A year ago, studying The Bible felt like a daily check off on my chore list. I didn’t necessarily enjoy it most of the time. I just knew it needed to be done.
Now, I actually look forward to studying. What has changed?
I found some Biblically sound videos to watch and books to read that resonate with how I like to learn. I read or hear examples of everyday life problems coupled with a Biblical solution backed by scripture.
Noticed I said “backed by scripture.” Just as there is a right way to divide the word of truth, there is a wrong way. So, make sure you check The Bible for yourself to see if what you’re being told is accurate, just like the Bereans who searched the scriptures daily. (Acts 17:10-11)
Everyone doesn’t learn the same way. So, everyone won’t study the same way.
Find the way that works best for you and go for it. We are still commanded to study.
