And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. (Joshua 24:15)

We have many choices in life. In this picture, my family is on the way back home from a trip a few weeks ago. We chose to have a family vacation. I also chose to remove the strangers in the background of this picture. We chose the activities for the trip, including where we ate.
This morning, we’re headed to worship service. This is a choice we make every Sunday morning. And even though my son doesn’t quite understand why we do this, he knows the choice we make every week.
We choose what we wear, who we spend time with, what shows we watch, etc.
Are we choosing God over everything? Over that event that happens to be the same time as worship service? Over the social occasions that are at the same time?
We aren’t perfect in our choices. But, you best believe, unless we are physically ill or hurt, we will be at worship service every Sunday morning. It’s a choice my parents made for us growing up. It’s a choice we’re making for our kids. What a wonderful choice to pass down to our kids.
Happy Sunday Comfies!
