The Longline Open Striped Floral Blouse

I wore this outfit to church on Sunday. You couldn’t tell me nothing! You hear me? Undoubtedly, the blouse is the star of the show! I love this blouse so much. It has everything I’ve grown to love.

I could go on, but you get the drift! My goal has been to dress comfortably, but also remain stylish. It hasn’t always translated correctly, but it certainly has here.

The Blouse

I’ve stated many times how much I love anything that has buttons. Buttons add an instant level of chic to any outfit. This blouse buttons almost halfway down so it gives a nice cape effect. I usually wear the top button open, but chose to keep it closed. I love how that little detail stepped the blouse up.

I’m wearing this in a 4X. I normally wear size 22 and this fits to a tee. I am 5’2 so I was so pleased that this did not drag the floor. When you’re petite in height, that can often present a challenge! But, not in this case!

The Pairings

I paired this long blouse with navy pull on pants I bought from Cato, as well as flats that were given to me. I went with simple earrings as to give the blouse the attention it deserves with no distractions. I’m quite pleased with how this turned out. I was able to get a mix of chic and comfy at the same time! That’s my kind of outfit!
